Overview

Upgrading buildings that are still in use

Refurbishment usually happens around people who are still using the building. Teljoy Construction plans phasing, dust control, access routes and out-of-hours working before work starts, not improvised once it has.

Work covers building alterations and upgrades, ceiling and roofing refurbishment, new floor, wall and decorative finishes, door, window and partition replacement, and structural repairs and modernisation.

FAQ

Renovations: common questions

Can you renovate while we continue to use the building?

Yes. Refurbishment is planned around occupants: phasing, dust control, access routes and out-of-hours working are agreed before work starts.

Do you handle structural repairs as well as finishes?

Teljoy carries out structural repairs and modernisation alongside alterations, ceiling and roofing refurbishment, finishes and door, window and partition replacement.

How are changes to the scope handled during a renovation?

Potential variations are identified, recorded and communicated before execution wherever reasonably possible, and logged in a variation register, reducing disputes and unplanned costs.

Planning renovations work?

Share the location, a short description of the work and your preferred start date. Drawings and a bill of quantities help, but aren’t needed to start the conversation.
