The project
Makuti Development Works brought civil infrastructure, building construction and finishing trades together on a single site. The works began below ground with earthworks, cut-to-fill operations, compacted gravel platforms and retaining structures, and carried through to Quarter Guard and canteen facilities, parade-square infrastructure, building finishes and external works.
Delivery
Works of this kind require close coordination of civil activities, building construction, finishes, procurement, labour and programme management.
